Position Overview:

As a Sales Executive for our reputable solar rooftop company, you will play a vital role in driving the growth of our business by actively promoting and selling our solar rooftop solutions to potential customers. Your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects, ultimately converting leads into successful sales. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Prospecting: Identify and target potential customers, including residential, commercial, and industrial clients, who can benefit from our solar rooftop solutions. Utilize various lead generation techniques, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.

  • Consultative Selling: Understand the unique energy needs and requirements of individual customers. Conduct thorough consultations to assess their eligibility and suitability for solar rooftop installations. Tailor proposals and presentations to showcase the benefits of our products in meeting their energy efficiency goals.

  • Quoting and Proposal Preparation: Collaborate with our technical team to prepare accurate and competitive quotes and proposals based on the customer's energy consumption patterns, site evaluation, and specific needs. 

  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Be responsive to inquiries, address concerns, and act as a reliable point of contact throughout the sales process and beyond.

  • Negotiation and Closing: Effectively negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring a win-win outcome for both the customer and the company. Aim to achieve and exceed sales targets by successfully closing deals.

  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the solar energy market. Utilize this knowledge to position our products advantageously in the market.

  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, including customer interactions, sales progress, and achievements. Prepare regular reports for management to track sales performance and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the engineering industry or solar industry.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey the benefits of solar rooftop solutions to diverse audiences.

  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track sales progress, and report performance.

  • Understanding of solar energy technology and its benefits in reducing carbon footprint and energy costs is a plus.

  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently while also being an effective team player.

  • Willingness to stay updated with industry developments and continuously improve selling techniques.
